It consists of three subjects namely Agricultural Extension, Tamil and English. Main objective of this department is to disseminate technologies from the lab to land, conducting exhibitions and training programs on advanced technologies to the farming community. The course provides opportunities to the students for studying the rural situation and gaining direct farm experiences, to get expertise in extension, entrepreneurial and managerial skills through RAWE Programme. The language courses aim to make the students competent and well versed in the language skills namely listening, speaking, reading and writing which are essential for the youth of today to meet the challenges in the changing global scenario.
